Please note that we do not have an advanced booking system for entrance into the Heritage Centre, it’s pay on entry only, unless you are a group of 10 or more. Visitor Safety Measures
- We are doing everything we can to keep you and our staff safe so please consider others and do not visit if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.
- Hand sanitiser is available upon entry into the Centre. All our toilets are provided with disinfectant sprays and again hand sanitiser is also available before entering the toilets. We encourage all visitors to act in a manner that respects the safety of others.
- Our site has a large green space, ideal for a summer picnic with ample onsite parking available. We have a Centre shop and coffee shop

Step Free Access
All public areas of the Heritage Centre are accessible without steps.
Physical Mobility
There are parking spaces for disabled near the entrance.
From the car park there are flat paved routes into the Heritage Centre which can easily be used by all visitors.
The exhibits have a good standard of written material to support the collections.
Toilets
A unisex disabled toilet is located near the main entrance.
Seating
If you require seating at any location in the Heritage Centre please ask any member of staff.
Visually Impaired:
Some of the exhibits in display cabinets have low light levels for conservation reasons.
Facilities
The Café is accessible to wheelchair users.
Dogs
All dogs allowed on the site however only guide, hearing and assistance dogs allowed inside the centre.
We have a water bowl outside the main entrance for thirsty dogs..
Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s).
Group Visits
The Heritage Centre welcomes group visits. We have a changing exhibitions programme in 2022 with something for all ages and interests. Café
During your visit our staff will offer you a warm welcome and are sure to tempt you with their delicious range of cakes, biscuits and chocolates.

By Road: From the north or east follow signage to Pembroke Dock. At Waterloo Roundabout take the A4139, following signs for the Ferry Port. Continue on A4139 past Tesco and Asda supermarkets, once past Gate 1 of Pembroke Port, keep the Dockyard wall on your right until you see the blue railings and the car-park entrance on your right.
By Rail: regular trains travelling west from Swansea, Carmarthen and Tenby terminate at Pembroke Dock.
From the Railway Station, the Heritage Centre is a fifteen minute walk west down Dimond Street, Queen Street and then south down Commercial Row to the pedestrian gate of the car-park.
By Bus: regular services, including 349, 356 and 361, run from Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Tenby, stopping at Albion Square, less than five minutes’ walk from the Heritage Centre.
