Support Us

In these unprecedented times, many people across the world are facing unforseen hardship. Of course, the Heritage Centre is no different. We have been truly moved by everyone who has contacted us asking how they may help so the following are ways that you can help towards the continued existence of the Heritage Centre be the home of heritage and culture of Pembroke Dock.

The Heritage Centre is entirely funded by the revenue we generate from our visitors and our events and unlike many large museums, receives no direct funding from Government. Right now, as we are unable to open, we have no income.

Sadly, there are a great many people in the same position, with jobs at risk, families to provide for, loved ones to care for and bills to pay. We are not unique.

If you are facing hardship yourself, please take care of those closest to you first.

However, if you are in a position to be able to donate towards our continued existence, here’s how to help.

Help us tell inspiring stories about Pembroke by giving us a donation today or by given through the Gift Aid scheme.

It is also possible to support the work of the Trust when shopping online through sites like Amazon or Ebay, or when buying household goods or even holidays. Often the website can donate 1 or 2% of your purchase value to the Trust. This doesn’t involve spending any extra money, but is given to the Trust when you make your purchase. These small amounts can quickly accumulate – especially as we attract more supporters! Click here for more details.

Why donations?

The Heritage Centre does not receive any funding except for a minimal amount in form of a grant from Pembroke Dock Town Council. As a charity we need our supporters more than ever to ensure our continued success to be the home of the heritage and culture of Pembroke Dock so we can secure our future.

Whilst we have been fortunate to awarded a minimal amount of money from Government during COVID-19 we receive no permanent Government funding and survive through the support of our visitors.

Please note that we can also accept Gift Aid on all forms of membership, unless you are buying it as a gift for somebody else.

We realise money is tight and therefore give you the option of purchasing Membership by taking out a monthly direct debit through our Local Giving page.  A minimum of £2 per month will give you all the benefits of ‘Friend’ membership above, for as long as you maintain the Direct Debit payment.  Click here to set up the direct debit.
