In 2017 Pembroke Dock Heritage Trust changed its charitable object to reflect its changing role regarding the town’s heritage and its work.

The Charity’s objects (‘the Objects’) is to advance education for the benefit of the public through the establishment and maintenance of a museum pertaining to the history, heritage and culture of Pembroke Dock and the surrounding area. At the heart of the Trust’s work is the preservation of the town’s unique and significant history.

A range of policies covering the Heritage Centre’s activities has been adopted by the Board of Trustees. These policies, set out below, are updated in line with new legislation and developments in best practice.
